Founded in 1977, Little Rock Christian Academy is an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory Christian school serving 3 year-olds through 12th grade and is committed to their mission "to serve families, churches, and the community by providing a K-12 education characterized by excellence in the pursuit of truth from a Christ-centered worldview." In addition to an excellent academic education, LRCA offers extensive fine arts and athletic programs. Little Rock Christian Academy is accredited by ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), the Arkansas Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association, AdvancED and is a member of The College Board, National Honor Society, National Beta Club and CESA Schools. == Academics == Little Rock Christian Academy has top ranking in their test scores with Arkansas private schools. Academically competitive, they have earned the ACT College Readiness award for the past two years. The ACT average score is 25. With twenty National Merit finalists and three National Achievement awards in the past five years, LRCA has made a name for themselves in their solid, competitive academics. Their DUKE Tip program in the middle school has scored in the record numbers for the past two years. LRCA offers AP and Honors classes at the high school level. With 6.79 million dollars in scholarship money offered to the class of 2011, academically, Little Rock Christian is thriving. In 2012, LRCA was named a National Blue Ribbon School.
